The initial architectural concept for this remarkable structure featured Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) as its primary material. In an effort to optimize cost-effectiveness while preserving the essence of the architect's vision, K2 engaged with Precast Elements to devise a more economical alternative.

The refined design showcases a distinctive surface treatment, characterized by a recurring pattern of 300mm width and 50mm depth scallops, complemented by a false slab edge to seamlessly integrate with the adjoining in-situ slab edges. Adding an extra layer of complexity, the walls gracefully curve around the entirety of the building.

To maintain a cohesive aesthetic, all surfaces have been meticulously coated in a pristine white finish, achieving a harmonious visual unity throughout the structure. This project underscores the successful collaboration between K2 and Precast Elements in realizing a cost-efficient yet architecturally faithful rendition of the original design.
